In mechanical engineering, it is used to create manufacturing processes as well as to design motor parts, robots and other innovative objects. AutoCAD is a commercial designing and drafting software application in Malappuram. It is used in industry by architects, civil engineers, graphic designers, city planners and many other professionals. AutoCAD was first introduced in the month of December in 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. It helps in assessing the cost of various products which aids in managing various activities. AutoCAD also allows modifications in the project already saved which definitely help the users. It is also used for tracking the number of orders completed in a required time span. This application allows sharing of files with multiple people, no matter how large the file. It is also available as mobile as well as web apps.
